Dr. Habermehl earned her medical degree at New York University. She then completed an internship at Brown University, followed by a residency at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, California.

She has held academic appointments as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she instructed medical students and residents. Dr. Habermehl also performed laboratory and clinical research and her work has been published nationally in peer reviewed medical journals. She has also presented her work at international academic meetings, including a presentation on the effects of estrogen on the blood vessels of postmenopausal women and she continues to be actively involved in research.

Dr. Habermehl is Board certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She received her training and certification in mesotherapy in Paris, under the direct tutelage of Dr. Jacques Le Coz, the only living pioneer of the technique. She also holds numerous certifications in Thermage, Intense Pulsed Light and Laser, as well as being a Fellow of the American Board of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Habermehl believes in filling the comprehensive needs of her patients. The Habermehl Aesthetics and Wellness Center specializes in comprehensive care for their patients. A full hour consult is scheduled for each patient, where they get the time and care they need and deserve. Dr. Habemehl also has a special interest in bioidentical hormone replacement and noninvasive cosmetic procedures.
